Let There Be Light
Make your S550 unique with LED headlights you can control with your phone

You never know what you might find online. With the 2015 Mustang modification scene exploding, the new products keep surfacing all the time. We recently stumbled on more of a service than a product, but the end result gives your S550 headlights color changing LEDs, sequential turn signals, and a “demon eye†look.
The company doing these modifications is called The Lighting Firm, and it offers a number of custom lighting upgrades for modern Ford headlights.
They take the stock lights and add lots of trick features by implanting customizable LEDS.
“The headlights are OEM modified. We replace the LED board with RGB boards that are controllable by iPhone, Android, or wireless remote that we include,†Chandler Welling of the Lighting Firm explained. “The sequential turn signals are added and can have different sequences programmed.â€
You can see the lights in action right here:
The sequential turn signals are probably the most striking feature, but the ability to change the color of the LEDs is pretty compelling as well. If you are interested in having your lights converted, you can click right here.
Those lights have a lot of warm spots, i would not put that on my car^^^
Whats do these TLF LEDs run for? $120 for the pair?
Warm spots eh??? I’d like to see some sort of back up/proof to that claim.

Let me point that out for you……here is a quick pic to back up said claim.
They are not even spaced the same!
Sorry but those headlights on that picture of the Mrt Mustang you linked to with the “warm spots” were made by Francis of D51. The headlights by the lighting firm were on the all black GAS Mustang. Epic fail buddy… Haha
That was his point that dynamics’ headlights has warm spots where as TLF appears not to in the pics…
I see… I thought he was bashing the lighting firm lights. Nothing against him but I was just wondering who he was talking. Thanks.
^Correct. MRT’s mustang lights were NOT ours. Our headlights were featured on Galpin’s black mustang and have zero hot spots. We use a drop in replacement LED RGB PCB board that utilizes the OEM reflector system for a perfect look! Additionally, our reseal looks virtually undetectable, as in the MRT mustang lights have quite a bit of silicone gouped on them.
Thanks for the article guys! Much appreciated.
Wait, two companies are modifying mustang headlights??
That’s insane, we can’t have options! Only one company should be able to make a product, monopolies are the best.
Competition is great for the consumer 🙂
I have a 14 fusion and would love an led strip inside the headlight, found some expensive ones on eBay. I wonder what kind of price you guys offer. It would be nice to see actual prices on your website.
We have prices on our website, especially for fusion. 🙂

What is your finished kit going for?
I have no shop loyalty, it’s just obvious TLF makes a superior 2015 mustang led kit.
Is there a setting that turns the gills off leaving only the projectors?
The turn signals are also way too much for me.
you’ve obviosly never seen them next to each other. and it’s not about friendly competition when. one guy asks the owner questions about a “build” and then takes all his advice, and then starts a competing company with his daddies money. those kind of business tactics get u in trouble in the long run. the D51 lights are superior. and TLF is a joke of a company built on lies and deception. “and daddies money”

Taylor Swift said it best… ” Haters gonna hate! “. I spoke with Scott from MRT personally out at SEMA and we had a long discussion about the lights on their vehicle. Fortunately for us our quality over our competitors were noticed by many :).
Laztug, Our finished kit with you supplying headlights goes for $675 depending on options that you/the customer chooses. All of our builds come with a two year warranty and I must say our reseals look OEM! Most competitors have warranties of 90 days parts and labor. Stay tuned to see our Mustang/Fusion/Focus headlights to launch with STEEDA next week, Classic Design Concepts in the coming weeks, Galpin Auto Sports product catalog, and Stage3motorsports which we launched with in June.

Have you?
I have just seen close pictures of both. TLF looks to be bringing LED innovation and quality to OEM headlights.
Looks like TLF asked D51 for advice (a person with experience in the field) to create a quality led headlight kit to be installed in our 2015 mustangs…..and you are hurt?! I don’t get it!
IDGAF who stole what idea from who.
If company B, takes the basic concept from company A to create a better product for ME the customer. Why would I have it out for company B?
I am not going to blame company B, because company A got comfortable.
Real world example.
You don’t exclusively wipe your ass with Scott toilet paper because they “did it first”…..do you?
Why should LEDs be any different?
TLF I am interested in having my headlights done by you guys.
Can you private message me a quote for:
#1
Red demon eyes
painted high gloss black bezels
#2
BMW style halo
painted high gloss black bezels
red demon eyes
#3
Full RGB projector / gills
Painted high gloss bezels
I was also wondering, how do you control the demon eye?
He didnt take the advice to create a headlight just for our cars. he stole an idea and a process. D51 is known for their fusion line and TLF is acting like there the leader in everything. this company is a joke.
There are only so many ways to take apart , add leds, and seal a headlight assembly.:??:
D15 should take notes from TLF and figure out a way to install RGB leds in the gills/ projectors.
D15 does some amazing work for fusions, hard to believe they installed the mess seen on black mustang.
