Picking wheels for your Mustang is one of the most important modding decisions you can make. The same is true of choosing a manufacturing partner to create a new line of Mustang wheels. Weld Racing has long been a popular choice for Mustang racers, and they are also the choice of Shelby American to create the company’s new 10-spoke Venice wheel.
These fetching new wheels are available in 20×9.5-inch and 20×10.5-inch sizes, so you can create that staggered-fit you want. Moreover, these forged aluminum wheels are said to be 20 pounds lighter than the stockers while offering improved durability.
“Weld Racing is thrilled to be an official supplier to Shelby American,” Norman Young, president and CEO, Weld Racing, said. “Weld Racing and Shelby are both iconic names with unmatched history of engineering higher levels of performance, making this partnership an excellent fit for years to come.”
It’s certainly an intriguing partnership, and it is good to know that these wheels were created just for the S197 Mustang.
“While many companies use a ‘one size fits all’ approach to put multi-piece wheels created for Camaros and Challengers on the car, our new wheel was designed specifically for the Mustang from the beginning,” Akos Feher, vice president of operations at Shelby American and Shelby Performance Parts, said. “Venice exemplifies Shelby’s ‘no-compromise’ attitude.”

Available in polished, black and black with a machined face, the Venice wheels can be ordered here today for $1,150 (each) for the fronts and $1,250 (each) for the rears.
Man for SPP’s sake I hope they look better in person. I like them about as much as the new Mustang’s body style.
I think the alcoas are much nicer looking wheels and they were priced right. This new wheel is ok looking but way over priced.
