Double Exposure
Post a caption, make us laugh, and you might win an SVTP decal
By Steve Turner
We are always on the prowl at Ford events across the country looking to bring you the most complete coverage possible. Often, there is only so much that one person can do. However, thanks to technology we have all become more productive. However, it is those that innovate with tech that really push things to new levels.
At the NMRA’s Super Bowl of Ford Drag Racing in Joliet, Illinois, we spotted this clever photog doing work trackside. We’ve see shooters with all sorts of gear at the race track. From multiple camera bodies and lenses to remote controlled flashes and cameras sitting on the track surface, it’s been used to capture awesome drag shots.
We prefer a more streamlined approach, but at this race we learned something new. This photographic innovator was is far more than one-dimensional. He not only captured still shots of the event, but some first-person video too. Clever and, for us, caption worthy.
Any idea what he might be thinking in this shot? Post your funny caption in the comments below by midnight on Thursday October 23. We’ll pick our favorite funny and let the winner know when the next contest goes live. The winner will join the cool kids’ club by winning an SVTPerformance.com decal for his or her ride.
