We live in truly amazing times. Technology has revamped nearly every facet of our lives. When it comes to high-performance cars, the fuel-injection technology that was once thought to be and impediment has unlocked performance and reliability that we could have only dreamed of in the days of carburetors and lumpy cams.

Who wouldn’t want to drive a 1,000-horsepower 2014 Mustang that still carries a warranty. That’s just what Armageddon Turbo Systems offers via Rich Ford’s Hyper ’Stangs program—the Hellanor. Based on a features a number of exterior upgrades, including a wide-body conversion, a custom paint job, billet Hellanor badges, and more.

Based on a features a number of exterior upgrades, including a wide-body conversion, a custom paint job, billet Hellanor badges, and more.

One group that is taking advantage of that technology is Motiva Performance and its sister company Armageddon Turbo Systems. Together these outfits built mega-power street Mustangs that can be purchased right off the dealer lot as part of the Hyper Stangs program at Rich Ford in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“So many times cars with massive horsepower are seen as unusable, unreliable, uncomfortable and unsuitable as a normal automobile. We wanted to show that our products, which feature only top-tier suppliers, can deliver a daily-drivable, comfortable experience,” Dan Brockett, professional Formula Drift driver and Marketing Coordinator for Armageddon Turbo Systems said. “Armageddon makes the baddest shit period. It’s high time everyone know about it. This whole video actually started with a casual conversation in Dave’s office that went something like, ‘Is the SEMA car (the one with our entire catalog thrown at it) reliable? Then let’s go out and prove it!’”

The video in question is this clever, high-production-short film…

“We sell these packages installed on new vehicles, through Hyperstangs, with a two-year/12,000-mile warranty when used at the 1,000 rear-wheel-horsepower setting and lower. Using five different dynamometers showcased the vehicle making the claimed power, to the wheels uncorrected while on a 2,000 mile road trip—with a warranty,” Dan added. “We wanted to show the world that these kits make reliable horsepower anywhere, anytime, and most importantly, uncorrected. So many companies throw numbers out that are just plain disappointing when you get your kit installed and hop on the dyno. The use of different dynos showed many different variables, and from high altitude to sea level, has proven our kits can perform as things change.”

A Coyote engine fortified with an Armageddon/MPS 1500 long-block, the Hellanor powerplant is built to support well over 1,000 horsepower. It is fed by one of Armageddon’s GTX3582R twin-turbo systems.

Seeing this car in action might have you excited to buy one. If so, you are in luck. Even if you aren’t up for buying the full car, the company can offer you a package for the Mustang you already own.

“The Hellanor is for sale! It is contracted for a movie shoot in June-July of this year, but can be sold anytime before or after that (it will be insured and restored after the movie production). The vehicle can be financed as well. You mean the world’s most powerful 2014 Ford Mustang sold new from a dealer? It was built with the intention of selling from the beginning. Its sticker price is $140,000,” Dan said. “If that’s not quite in your budget, we sell turbo kits and complete powertrain packages to get your car to same horsepower level with out breaking the piggy bank completely open…”
