Ford Performance rings in 2016Â with a North American Focus RS tease

Regular readers know that we are pretty pumped up about the new 2016 Focus RS arriving from Europe. All the new Focus RS are built in Saarlouis, Germany, and will be shipped to the US in a couple of months. However, to get us excited, Ford recently shared a video of a Focus RS flying from Europe and landing in Chicago, Illinois…
“It’s here … the all-new 2016 Ford Focus RS—powered by a unique EcoBoost engine producing 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft torque—has finally arrived on U.S. soil,” says the video description. “Configure your Focus RS at the vehicle’s build and price site so you can be one of the first to have it in your driveway this spring.”
As if we needed another reason to look forward to the arrival of spring, having the Focus RS slide onto North American pavement is definitely near the top of our list.
