Make your phone sound like a Cobra Jet drag car with a new ringtone

As the whole world knows by now, Ford Performance took the cover off its 8-second Cobra Jet at The SEMA Show this week. This purpose-built drag racer is propelled by a Whipple supercharged 5.0-liter engine that breathes out through open American Racing Headers. That means it sounds great flying down the track.

Of course, Ford Performance is only selling 50 of these race cars through its performance parts division. That means you might not be able to own one, but you can hear get ready to blast down the 1,320 every time your phone rings thanks to a new ringtone that Ford uploaded to SoundCloud.

“Making its debut at SEMA 2015,” says the company, “Get the sound of the Cobra Jet Mustang —a factory-built racecar that’s legal for National Hot Rod Association Stock and Super Stock drag racing—for your phone!”

Just download the file and add it to your phone’s ring tones and you can hear an 8-second Coyote doing a burnout every time you receive a call.
