When it comes to seeing and being seen in the world of the automotive aftermarket, The SEMA Show is the place to be. Held annually in early November in Las Vegas, Nevada, this mammoth gathering brings together everybody that is anybody in the automotive aftermarket. If you are looking to get the word out on your brand, a trip to Sin City is certainly in order, and that’s just what Juggernaut Power has in mind. The company will show off four of its custom Mustangs at this year’s show!
SVTP Front Page readers know that Juggernaut Power really got its start because of last year’s SEMA Show. Founder Rey Rivera was realizing his dream of having a show vehicle displayed in the Vortech Superchargers booth. Along the way he partnered with Jon Bowen at Bowen’s Garage, a unique Ford dealer in Eastford, Connecticut, to create a new mod shop with its sights set on building custom Mustangs with super-car-level performance.
“Juggernaut Power also has an automotive design-and-build division called Track Vehicle Group that can design and build new Mustangs with TVG performance packages or install TVG kits after vehicle purchase,†Rey told us as the company launched.
Well, in less than a year’s time, that company is now ready to show off the fruits of its development labors at this year’s aftermarket extravaganza in Sin City. The company’s entry-level ride is a 550-horsepower EcoBoost Mustang dubbed the RC1, while the RC2 and RC3 Mustangs ramp up the performance level with supercharger 5.0-liter combinations. And, if drag racing is your thing, Juggernaut Power has you covered as well.
“The TVG Drag Pak is a car that you can drive from the showroom straight to the track and run a strong number in the quarter-mile,†Rey said. “This is a fully street legal vehicle they can be competitive in sanction bodies that it may fit in. The car can be further modified to fit the guidelines of a particular class.â€
Headlining the offering’s from Juggernaut Power is the ominously named Alpha Male, which is said to come with horsepower well into the four-digit range courtesy of a built Coyote 5.0 boosted by one of Juggernaut Power’s mid-mount turbo systems.
We’ll have more on these cars after their official debut, but suffice it to say if you are into mega-power Mustangs, next week is a great time to be in Las Vegas.
