Roush gives owners of its S550 supercharger kit 43 free horsepower

If you bought a Roush Performance supercharger for your 2015+ Mustang GT, you obviously wanted more horsepower under your hood. Well, how would you like even more horsepower from that same supercharger system for free?

“Roush Performance is excited to announce a free upgrade for our 2015+ Roush supercharger. Effective immediately, Roush is handing out vouchers for 43 horsepower on the house!” says the company. “This free upgrade will take your 627 horsepower supercharger kit up to 670 horsepower. . . you heard right, free horsepower!”

To get that boost in power from a revised calibration, you’ll need to visit a web site and fill out a short survey. The web site is appropriately called AddHP.com. Yup, the free upgrade has its own site, and on that site the company does a little market research about a possible 750-horsepower supercharger system. Hmmm…

“If you’re currently running our 627 horsepower aftermarket kit simply visit the link below, fill out a quick survey, print your free voucher, and drive to your local Roush-authorized Ford dealership or speed shop to receive the upgraded calibration, and claim your additional 43 ponies on us (voucher is free, but calibration flash charges will apply at dealership),” the company explains. “Of course, your existing warranty (if any) remains in effect.”

So it’s not totally free, but if you can pick up 43 more horsepower and still hang on to what’s left of your warranty, it’s still a pretty sweet deal.
