Nitto Tire Auto Enthusiast Day returns to Southern California next month

Southern California car nuts rejoice, Nitto Tire is returning with its Auto Enthusiast Day, which will be held at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California. For the third year in a row auto fans can enjoy of internal combustion entertainment thanks to the tire manufacturer. From tire-smoking demonstrations to a car show, this day offers something for everyone.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with how quickly Auto Enthusiast Day has evolved, as well as all of the positive responses from our fans,†Harry Kong, Brand Publishing Events and Motorsports for Nitto Tire, said. “Nitto is proud to be a company Fueled by Enthusiasts and we love being able to give back to the community that has been instrumental in our success. We have some great things planned for our 3rd annual event and cannot wait to see the reactions of the attendees.â€

Team Nitto drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr., Odi Bakchis, “Mad†Mike Whiddett, and Tanner Foust will be on hand to drift their rides and smoke some Nitto Tires. There will also be a number of the company’s sponsored off-road drivers at the event.
If you just want to show off your own ride, there will be a car and truck show, which features a host of traditional and non-traditional classes. The truck categories range from the standard Best 4×4 to the humorous Most Environmentally Unfriendly. Likewise, the car classes range from Best in Show to Most Likely to be Pulled Over.
Held on Saturday, August 1, at Angel’s Stadium in Anaheim, California, Auto Enthusiast Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free for everyone and the first 500 car show participants will score a prize.
