Until now, Roush Performance had held the official performance numbers for its top-of-the-line 2015 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. Based on the potential shown by its Phase 3 aftermarket kits, we knew the numbers would be solid—and they are. Who wouldn’t like to drive off the dealer lot with 670 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque? That’s just want proud owners of new RS3s will have on tap.

As you can see, the supercharged RS3 offers a significant performance advantage over a base Mustang GT. It’s 670 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque account for peak-to-peak gains of 240 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, respectively.

“The new Roush Mustang’s generous power ratings impeccably compliment the RS3’s list of standard and optional features, including the ROUSH Quad-Tip exhaust (with optional Roush Active Exhaust System), standard single-adjustable coil-over suspension system (or optional competition-tuned three-way adjustable system), and the fierce new ‘R7’ aerobody,” says the company.

If you want to learn a bit more about the 2015 Roush Stage 3, you can get a primer in this video…

Clearly the 2.3-liter TVS supercharger and the latest Coyote engine are a match made in heaven. Combined with an active, quad-tip exhaust, this combo not only creates great performance, but it should sound awesome when you get into the boost.

“Jack Roush’s vision shines through the 2015 Roush Stage 3 Mustang’s perfect combination of 670 horsepower with meticulous handling and braking capabilities, providing the driver access to the robust attitude and performance of a racecar, while maintaining a comfortable and uniquely Roush driving experience,” the company added.

Sounds like fun to us. What would you do with a stunning, 670-horsepower Mustang and a warranty?
