Our friends at Lethal Performance spotted a Shelby GT350 running down the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant. Could that mean that the Hummingbird is getting ready to fly into dealerships?
Either way, it’s always fun to get a look at the cars before we can see them in person. It isn’t clear whether this is a standard GT350 or the lighter GT350R, but it definitely looks great in red. They even got a shot of the car’s Brembo brakes, which looks awesome as well.
It’s amazing to sit back and think that Ford just launched the 2015 Mustang late last year and it is already gearing up with a Ford Performance variant. We definitely live in interesting times.
I’d bet it’s a pre-production model.
Tomorrow is the last day for dealer principals to sign up for the GT350 Enrollment. Ordering won’t begin for a while.
That makes sense, 13Cobra. I couldn’t help but get a little excited. 🙂
This is the gt350 (not r) you can tell from the wheels. Does looki nice in red
I understand, I’m right there with you. I’ve been calling dealers all day today buying their allocations….
Nice observation.
