Running a high-performance shop is a daunting business proposition. People want faster cars, but they don’t have to have faster cars. Fortunately, most of us reading this really want faster cars, but without customers a shop won’t have its bay doors open for long. As such, it’s definitely worth celebrating the people that bring their cars through those doors.
In the case of Pro Dyno in Ft. Mill, South Carolina, the shop was all set to have its annual cruise-in for just that reason, but bad weather forced them to reschedule the date. Fortunately, its rain date on November 15, worked out quite well.
Said gathering included the aforementioned cruise-in along with a dyno shootout, dyno pulls, a raffle, 50/50 Prizes, and a free lunch. Pro Dyno even offered a cash prize to the car with the top rear-wheel horsepower. It wasn’t just about fun, however, the Pro Dyno crew was also in the holiday spirit, as they set out to gather food for those in need.
“At our open house, we had about 250 cars, collected 500 cans of food and $200 in cash donations to donate to the Pilgrim’s Inn of Rock Hill, South Carolina!†Pro Dyno’s Jeremy Marler said. “Our rain date was definitely a success!â€
So, whether you were there or you just love checking out some high-performance Mustangs, we are here for you to recap the day.
