If you fell in love with the 2015 Mustang, but just had to have a convertible, we have good news for you. Ford says the droptop S550s are starting to ship to dealers this week.
“Cold weather may have come unseasonably early this year, but with available heated seats, remote start and selectable drive modes with a snow/wet setting, Mustang is the perfect offering for the season,†Melanie Banker, Mustang brand manager, said .
Naturally Ford doesn’t want you to wait till spring to pick up a new convertible, so the company is touting the year-round usability of the modern Mustangs.
“While these seats also have a cooling feature, we suspect customers won’t be using this function for a few more months,†Melanie added.
With the automatics’ remote start feature you can warm up the interior before you run out to the car, and the selectable driving modes include a wet/snow setting to keep you headed in the right direction.
“Mustangs are made for year-round practicality and enjoyment,†she said, “so it’s exciting that customers are taking delivery of their convertible Mustang models—regardless of the season.â€
