Classic Design Concepts breaks out with a serialized S550 Mustang—the Outlaw

As we are just days away from The SEMA Show it is quite clear that a fleet of modified Mustangs are set to take over the show floor. One company that will have a two-pronged approach in Las Vegas is Classic Design Concepts. Not only will the company have a convertible in the Ford booth and a Fastback in its own booth, CDC will also expand beyond creating parts into creating a complete package called the Outlaw.

“We look forward to unveiling our Outlaw packages for the all-new 2015 Mustang, which has already become a hit among enthusiasts worldwide,” George Huisman, president of CDC, said. “Our studio designed a package that is stylish and distinctive, yet easy to install. The package gives the new Mustang a sleek, aggressive look with the quality of OEM fit and finish. The Outlaw-equipped Mustang gives owners the opportunity to customize their new car right out of the box.”

Now, we have long known CDC for its line of parts upgrades for Mustangs and other vehicles. We have used many of them on our own projects. So, it is exciting to see the company expand its horizons into complete vehicles based on the 2015 Mustang.

“Dealers and individuals like something special, unique and limited. Serializing it spells out loud and clear that there are not many and it’s special,” George explained. “Not like the other one at the light. People also really like a name to be associated to their cars”

It should definitely be exciting to have the Outlaw name associated with the new Mustang. The package will feature a full complement of CDC Outlaw bodywork. One highlight is a set of functional side rockers that add Ford’s inverse cooling to the rear brakes. You can even option it up for more performance with gear from Ford Racing, Steeda, and Wilwood.

“We picked up production to coincide with the arrival of the new Mustang in dealer showrooms,” George said. “Enthusiasts should connect with their local installer or Ford dealer to add an Outlaw package to their car.”

Of course, CDC will also make the individual parts available for sale. Both the parts and the serialized packages should be available by the spring of 2015.

“Ford Mustang owners enjoy personalizing and improving their cars,” George said. “They hunger for an edge, whether that means making their pony car handle better, look sharper or sound great. Our bold new parts give offer far more performance and personality than the stock components. The product line-up includes both aesthetic and upgrade components, giving owners the ultimate choice for customization.”

Among the most prominent parts of the package are its namesake wheels, which are available in three finishes. They will not only be sold for 2015 Mustang, but also for 2005-2014 Mustangs as well. However, as expansive as CDC’s show offering are, this is really just the beginning.

“From CDC you can expect more innovative, quality, and stylish parts like several different spoilers to chose from, an all-new hood, and many grilles, even and even some interior enhancements, so stay tuned…” George hinted.
