Known as the Mean Green Machine, this 2013 Roush Phase 3 Mustang debuted at the SEMA show in 2013 to promote the company’s Phase 3 supercharger upgrades for which it served as the development platform. Then it starred as a test vehicle for number media test-drive reports. So, not only is the car fast, it has a bit of fame under its blower belt.
During that time your author was able to drive the Mean Green Machine. At first, I found the color scheme a little bold. Yet, after driving it for a short period of time, I grew to enjoy its attention-grabbing personality. However, that opinion might have been brought along by the experience of driving this truly fast ride.

The Phase 3 Mustang is the kind of performance Mustang you’d want to build for yourself. It has a stout engine, big boost, and the handling and braking to make the most of its power. Better yet, it was tough enough to survive a gauntlet of automotive writers before staring in a really unique video. In this clip, Formula Drift star Justin Pawlak wheels it around the Petersen Automotive Museum parking garage in Los Angeles, California, and the Mean Green Machine puts on quite a show:
