With the 2015 Mustang on the verge of invading the streets of America, it is time for the creative souls in the aftermarket unveil their variations on the S550 theme. Today at one of the largest Mustang car shows on the globe, the AmericanMuscle.com show, drifting super star Vaughn Gittin Jr. unveiled renderings of his forthcoming 2015 Mustang RTR.
“…The passion that everyone has for RTR is driving my team, and I to continue to push the envelope and we are just getting started!†Vaughn recently told us. “Our 2015 RTR and the products we will be producing for the new S550 and previous cars thru the future are being developed with the goal on putting smiles on faces! We plan to continue being a part of the Mustang movement and having as much fun as possible with our customers!â€
Well, if you snag a 2015 Mustang RTR, it sure looks like it will be fun. The cars will be available based on both the 435hp Mustang GT and 310hp EcoBoost variants. You can order the RTR in a base configuration dubbed Spec 1 or a more modded version, obviously called the Spec 2, which is rendered here.
“Ford’s Mustang team has done an incredible job with the new 2015 Ford Mustang,†Vaughn explained. “The RTR team and I are pumped to work with such an incredible platform for RTR builds. Without a question, the performance and overall presence of the new Mustang RTR will impress and keep a smile on our customers’ faces whether cruising the streets or getting crazy on the track. I cannot take delivery of mine soon enough!â€
If you want to take delivery of one, you can pick one up at one of the many Mustang RTR dealers across the country.
“For the past couple years we have really focused on building relationships with the best dealers out there,†Vaughn said. “The dealers we have partnered with so far have been very happy with the RTR program we offer and the overall reception Mustang RTR’s receive in their dealerships. Excitement is very high around this next-generation Ford Mustang.â€
Of course if you don’t buy a serialized Mustang RTR, that doesn’t mean you can’t add some or all of the slideways, Ready To Rock panache to your S550. Starting in January 2015 the Mustang RTR products will be available for purchase. The significance of the renderings’ reveal at the AmericanMuscle.com show is that these parts will be exclusively available via AmericanMuscle.com or directly via MustangRTR.com.
“RTR’s success and reception has been pretty incredible, My dream with RTR was to offer a turnkey Mustang that came from the dealer with unique fresh aggressive looks and could easily dialed to enjoy all the things I enjoy behind the wheel, railing turns, drifting, blasting some straightaways all while having a nice ride for a daily driver and general cruising,†Vaughn told us. “I also wanted to offer high-quality, functional performance and appearance parts that offered a fresh take on styling in the Mustang world in addition to the aftermarket.â€
We certainly can’t wait to see the real car in person, and you can expect to learn more about the 2015 Mustang RTR when it debuts at this year’s SEMA show.
