Ford raffles off a one-of-one 50th Anniversary convertible to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

If you aren’t hot for a 2015 Mustang, you probably haven’t seen one in person yet. You definitely haven’t seen a convertible in person, but you could have the chance to win one of the most unique convertibles of this Mustang generation. That’s right, Ford is raffling off the keys to a one-of-a-kind, 50th Anniversary edition convertible at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

This 2015 Mustang will be the only convertible constructed with the Mustang 50 Years package, so if you love that car but need a convertible, this is your only shot. Of course, you might not want to cruise it on the beach, because it will be quite collectible. In fact, the dash plaque will not only be engraved with Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford’s signature, but it will wear the serial number 0001 of 0001. That is rare.

Should you want to drive it, as Bill recommends you do with all Mustangs, it will pack all the goodness the 50 Years option has to offer. That includes Wimbledon White paint; a chrome-accented grille with corralled pony emblem; chrome accents around the tri-bar taillight lenses; aluminum instrument panel trim; a GT 50 Years badge; two-tone seats; 19-inch Y-spoke wheels; and a leather 50 Years owner’s guide portfolio. On the mechanical side, it offers a six-speed manual, six-piston Brembo brakes, a limited-slip diff, and 19-inch Pirelli tires.

Certainly it is a cool car, and well worth the price of a $20 raffle ticket. Better yet, the raffle benefits a great cause.
